What is Graphic Design for? Image

http://www.behance.net/gallery/Paper-cuts-Rolls/241623

Some really interesting examples of paper craft, interesting idea of using a tube, connotes ideas of recycling.. Not really sure who the intended audience would be seems, more of a personal project but all the same really quite interesting.

What is Graphic Design for? Singha Beer Calendar / Image

http://www.behance.net/gallery/SINGHA-beer-Calendar-2011/904786

Not really sure if illustration is my style but these illustrations for a Singha beer calendar are fantastic, they have a interesting narrative throughout them that easily engages the audience. The idea of having a narrative is a really good way of communication especially visually through illustration. A great piece of design for anyone who likes Singha beer.

What is Graphic Design for? Print

http://www.behance.net/gallery/STAR-GRID-POSTERS/311165

Originally found these posters on the behance network and the detail in them is amazing. A innovative way of printing portraits and the use of black on white stock works really well making the posters really stand out. The print also seems to work on the bags and it's good to see them being used within context.

Illustration by Brighton based designer Yuko Michishita, can't upload any more examples of her work because blogger is being a bit crap. Really like the style of the drawings so much detail but they work really well.

What is Graphic Design for? Misc Format

http://www.behance.net/gallery/Misc-Format-2011/1173497

Working with such strong photography is always tough but the use of type and image works really well. Editing the colours of the photographs ensures that they are some what more simplified. As posters I think they're a great example of how little information can go a long way.

What is Graphic Design for? 2012 Audi A7 papercraft

http://www.behance.net/gallery/2012-Audi-A7-Papercraft/1304919

I was commissioned by Audi of America to create a 4 foot long papercraft replica of the 2012 Audi A7 for their announcement event of this vehicle and display at the 2011 New York Auto Show. This model consists of 750 unique parts on 285 sheets of paper which I designed and assembled using reference photography and the original A7 blueprints from Germany. The entire papercraft was completed after around 245 hours and very well received by the great folks at Audi.
