A simple poster - like the use of the red and the black think it works quite well being printed on acetate.

Like the way in which the sheets of acetate are layered over each other creates a interesting effect.

Found this piece of work I guess its not really relevant to what Im looking for but is still a interesting way of working with acetate.

On Foster, Foster On, published by Prestel, is a collection of essays by, and about architect Norman Foster. Incorporated in the cover is an interactive CD that presents colour images and drawings of the projects mentioned in the body of the book. Within the book itself, the images are black and white.
The cover, with its acetate wrap-around and embedded CD, reflects the layered approach of the book. Each essay gives insight into Foster’s thinking, collectively, they summarise his attitude and approach.

Simple publication with a cover made from tracing paper.

2011 calendar. One of my concerns about the tracing paper is that it gets damaged really quickly so need to ensure that it stays in one piece when getting stuff printed.

Stationary.. A simple and effective way of using the trace. Not loving the work but think it works well having been printed onto the trace.

Thought this was just amazing, seems like it is quite complicated to put together but actually a really good idea.

Think laser cutting is actually quite interesting - not actually done and laser cutting yet but it is something that I would really like to try. think it works so well with the trace, almost get the feeling of frosted glass..

Liking the use of the different colours on this and the type works really well too.

I'm hoping that a lot of the branding that I'll be doing will really be black with maybe another colour to break things up. This is a great example of just using black. Like how the design works across a range of different mediums.

Quite an interesting series of posters. Notice how the paper has got quite crinkled not sure if thats cause of the print or not though.

This is the kind of effect I would like to create across my designs, having the layers of trace makes some of the images and text appear to be slightly lighter but are quite prominent when you get to that page.

Some info graphics, quite interesting. Looking at a lot of the work I've seen it's made me realise that it would be interesting to do work that is quite a different format to what you usually get.
